argyll-ref software package provides Color Management System, calibrator and profiler (data files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install argyll-ref
argyll-ref is installed in your system.
Make ensure the argyll-ref package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep argyll-ref *
You will get with argyll-ref package name, version, architecture and description in a table
